Julia Jung
Julia is a transdisciplinary ocean scientist with a background in marine biology and participatory methods. Dey completed deir BSc(Hons) at Edinburgh Napier University and obtained a Master in Management of marine biological resources through the international IMBRSea Erasmus Mundus programme in 2020. Since then, dey have been working as a consultant on a range of participatory capacity building, storytelling and ArtScience projects. Currently, Julia is a PhD student at the FEELed Lab based on the unceded ancestral territories of the syilx okanagan people in Kelowna, BC, Canada at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan. Julia’s PhD is exploring the potential of polyamorous thinking to support transdisciplinary collaborations in ocean science and marine conservation.
